Friday I ran a short run and yesterday I did my longest run yet, 11.5 miles. It took me 1:52 (about 9:44 miles) not accounting for stoplights, etc. It felt pretty good until about the last mile. My muscles started to give up on me and it was hard to maintain pace.
If my body will cooperate, I'd like to just keep this high mileage up until the marathon in August. I was originally planning on doing the SL Half Marathon (which was yesterday) but the $65 entry fee was too much. That's why I got my mileage up so quickly. But hopefully I can just maintain it.

Building up again
I did a short run on Friday and missed my Saturday long run again because of Easter festivities. But I ran yesterday, 4 miles in 35 minutes... about 8:45 miles. I can feel that I lost some of my strength because of the time I've taken off. So I'm building muscles again and will hopefully be able to do 8 or 9 miles on Saturday.

Sick time
Last Wednesday (a week from yesterday) I ran about 7 miles to Justin's parents' house and I think it made a small cold I had worse. I totally lost my voice over the weekend. So I took time off to get better as quickly as possible.
I finally ran again today, 5 miles, at about a 8:12 pace. So I don't think the break affected my pace much, thank goodness.
